Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data the emSign Certificate Checker (emsign-check.automationvault.net), run by Automation Vault, collects and why. It is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.

Personal data we collect and why

We use each kind of personal data only for the purpose stated next to it, and for no other purposes.
The domains you check, and the results, are kept to show totals and to reuse a recent result for a few minutes. A domain name is normally not personal data. Certificates you paste are read and discarded; only the verdict is kept.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this site, and we do not sell or share your personal data.
Who processes the data for us
The site is hosted by Hostinger, which stores the data above on our behalf and is bound to keep it secure. Sign-up emails, if sent, may go through an email provider under similar terms.
How to withdraw your consent
You can withdraw your consent to receive updates at any time, as easily as you gave it: reply to any email from us with "unsubscribe", or write to hello@automationvault.net. We will delete your email address within 7 days.
Your rights
- Access: ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction and updating: ask us to correct or update it.
- Erasure: ask us to delete it.
- Nomination: nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or are unable to.
- Grievance redressal: raise a grievance about how we handle your data.
To make any request, email hello@automationvault.net from the address you signed up with, or tell us the domain you checked.
Contact and grievances
The person who can answer questions about how we process personal data, and our grievance contact, can be reached at hello@automationvault.net. We aim to reply within 7 days and will resolve grievances within 90 days at the latest.
Complaints to the Data Protection Board
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once you have used our grievance process.
Security
The site uses HTTPS with HSTS. IP addresses are stored only as hashes and deleted after an hour. Access to stored sign-ups is restricted.
